Annual Giving Drive (SEP-NOV)
Our main fundraiser of the year. Help reach out to your school community and spread the word about the importance of this event. It’s essential that everyone stretch to give meaningfully so we can reach our Annual Giving Drive goal - $1,400,000 and 100% participation this year. This is a great volunteer option if you only have availability during evening hours. There are lots of different roles and we will find a place for you!
This is an LCS hallmark event. A dynamic food and fun festival celebrating our diverse community, K-12. It features a giant fair, parent-made food, and interactive games from all around the world. Bring your culture and country of origin to World Fair to make it as rich as possible. Last year this event was transformed into the virtual "Passport to the World Fair" on its own online platform - tech help is always needed here!. (Safety permitting.)
Harvest Festival/Bake Sale (DEC)
The Harvest Festival celebrates our Edible Schoolyard Program - garden, food and community built around breaking bread together. It’s a festival of fun, shopping, and music. Kids get out there and help us raise funds while getting fit and having fun! Students and their families seek sponsors for their runners—anything from a few dollars to a few hundred. We aim to raise $130,000 across the whole school. Help organize, communicate, or run this event on your campus. (Safety permitting.)
This is our grown-up party with a silent online and live auction, cocktails, and dinner. We ask our whole community to look for auction items to build an appealing, profitable auction. We need team members from each campus to help solicit items as well as help create this giant party! We aim to raise at least $125,000. (Safety permitting.)
Corporate Outreach/Sponsorships
Got a connection? Know someone on the “inside”? Help develop a corporate sponsorship for LCS that can be used to fund various LCS needs.
Larchmont parents host parties and all proceeds go directly to the school. They range from teaching a group of kids to ride bikes, to poker night, to gourmet meals, kids art and crafts - the possibilities are endless! Gather together with a couple of friends to throw a party you think would be fun to host and attend! It’s time to get creative with these community builders! (Safety permitting.)
If you have connections to the entertainment world, you can help us by donating experiences we can auction on the Charity Buzz website. Celebrity and special access tickets are in great demand outside L.A., and people will pay for these opportunities. Virtual industry meetings and access, VIP tix, and premieres are a few things that do really well here.
