Larchmont Charter High School is a California Interscholastic Federation (CIF), LA City Section school competing in twelve sports spanning three seasons. With several League Championships and deep runs in citywide post-season tournament play, the Timberwolves regularly compete successfully against schools many times our size.

 

The High School Athletics Program teaches life skills and character development within a competitive context. We believe that pursuing high-level achievement on the court or field equips young people with skills that prepares them for success. Our coaches are dedicated to growing successful young men and women while helping them reach their fullest athletic potential. We believe athletics and scholarship grow hand-in-hand, supporting success in all areas of life.

LCS Athletics teaches life lessons through sport. We strive for the physical, intellectual, social, moral, and cultural development of the whole person. Timberwolves athletes learn to work as a team in pursuit of a common goal, greater than themselves, adhering to the highest standards of fairness and respect. 

 

The values of our athletic program align with the values of the LCS Constructivist educational philosophy to produce well-rounded athlete/scholars ready for the next level of personal achievement, in college and beyond.
