LCS is a parent-initiated school that strives to build a creative, academically challenging and emotionally nurturing environment for our children – one that embraces and celebrates the diversity of languages and cultures in our urban community while retaining the close-knit feel of a neighborhood school. We are a school of choice and offer an alternative option to the traditional public school curriculum.

Larchmont Charter School (LCS) is a tuition-free, open-enrollment, public charter school. One school, four campuses: LCS is a continuous TK-12 program with four campus locations. Step 3: ATTEND an Informational Meeting or Open House.
Informational sessions (TK-7) and the Open House (8th-12th) offer a glimpse of the insider perspective on one of the most diverse, progressive, small schools in Los Angeles. You will learn more about our TK-12 community and how our constructivist school program supports our students' growth academically, socially and emotionally. During these sessions, families can familiarize themselves with all that Larchmont Charter School offers and hear about our program.
