December 21-January 4 - Winter Break

Tuesday, January 12 - End of First Semester

Dear LCS Selma Families,

With the number of COVID cases on the rise, we hope you continue to stay safe and healthy. As the end of the semester approaches, we hope that students take this time over the next two weeks to continue working hard, keeping up on their assignments, and end the semester strong!

But you know what they say about all work and no play, so we are excited to invite you to a Winter Celebration Drive Thru event! On December 16, we are inviting families to drive through the Fairfax campus between 9:30 - 11:30am as we joyfully welcome the holidays and bid farewell to the year 2020. Please fill out this RSVP Form, so we can get an accurate count of how many students to expect during the Drive-Thru. We will share more details soon.

Parent Coffee with Val & Alison

If you missed our latest parent coffee, check out these slides about Supporting Our Kids' Mental Health.

Southern California Counseling Center

We are excited to share that Larchmont Charter School at Selma has a partnership with Southern California Counseling Center! We have amazing, trained counselors who are eager to support our students through this school year! If you have any questions or are interested in exploring this opportunity for your child to receive social emotional support, please email Sarah, Mini or Val (School Psychologist) for more information.

Scholar’s Circle

Would your student like help with certain academic subjects? Can they benefit from having an older student mentor who guides them as they navigate distance learning?

Please make use of the Scholar’s Circle program offered by LFP students.

5th Grade Materials Pick Up

On December 9 from 10:30-12:30, we invite 5th grade families to drive through our carpool lane off of Selma Ave to pick up copies of two novels.
