There’s only one week of school left in this calendar year! It might be safe to say that we’re over 2020 and are looking forward to a happier, safer new year. Even so, we want to make the most of the time that we have and we ask for your support to ensure that your student attends and engages in all of their classes next week and that they finish both the calendar year and the semester strong. While teachers will not be assigning new work (except for AP/Honors classes), students ought to work on completing incomplete/missing assignments as the last day to submit work for the semester will be Wednesday, January 6 (see schedule).

End of First Semester Schedule

In order to support students and staff as we close out the first semester of this school year, we are implementing the schedule outlined below.

Sages and Seekers (flyer)

Sages & Seekers is hosting a 7 week, online program beginning in mid-January. Attached to this email, please find a flyer to share with your students, and here is the online application for students to fill out if they are interested in participating: https://forms.gle/QEuRgPoZ6Y2vGTJ36.

For those of you who aren't familiar with Sages & Seekers, this is an incredible opportunity for students to connect with older adults, build community and earn community service hours! The program pairs students with an older adult, and together they participate in a series of activities over the course of 7 weeks that allow them to get to know each other and build an authentic connection.

Larchmont has contracted with TechaBee to help support families and teachers by answering your tech-related questions, supporting your technology, and managing your devices. TechaBee is here to help with tech issues regarding WiFi Connectivity, Chromebooks, Zoom, and SeeSaw, and much more!

The help desk is available 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Call or Text: (925) 494-2101. Or email them at techabee@larchmontcharter.org, and copy belinda@techabee.com & terence.bow@larchmontcharter.org. This email address (techabee@larchmontcharter.org) forwards straight to the TechaBee help desk so we can more quickly resolve your tech issue. Please be sure to cc Belinda and Terence so we can keep track of your tech request.
