The LCS After School Program has always provided a fun and enriching supplement to the school day. The coming school year will provide exciting new opportunities for the LCS community. Jack Satchyan and Lorne Green are excited to be helming LARCHMONT YOU at the St. Ambrose campus and the Hollygrove campus respectively.
LARCHMONT YOU will be an integrated activity and enrichment learning program based on a liberal arts core of workshops. Students will begin their day at LARCHMONT YOU in their homeroom where they will have snack and begin Homework Help. When Homework Help is finished the real fun begins. All students will rotate in and out of workshops for the remainder of the afternoon, with a free period built in to help wind down. The Brainteaser workshop will have exciting games that sharpen math skills. Arts and Crafts will be a journey through History as well! In Drama, students will bring current events to life. Sports will build character and teamwork skills. Electives outside the Core will be offered at an additional cost to students enrolled at LARCHMONT YOU and those who are not. Information about electives will go home the first week of school. There will be something for everyone as we provide a well-rounded supplement to the instructional day.

Electives (optional for all at an additional cost; students not enrolled at LARCHMONT YOU are welcome to attend)

Parents will be pleased to know that they will be raising funds for our school?s instructional program by enrolling their children at LARCHMONT YOU.
