Hollygrove Lead Teacher - TK-1st Grade
I am one of the many Sarahs in the Larchmont community. I’m Sarah McElroy, often referred to as Sarah Mac. I have been part of the Larchmont community since 2006 as an afterschool coordinator, instructional aide, substitute teacher and lead kindergarten and first grade teacher. You will likely hear crazy voices, singing and lots of laughter coming from my classroom. I consider it my mission to foster each student’s sense of curiosity and spark a love of learning. I enjoy getting messy with art projects and silly with read alouds.
I grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio and studied psychology at the Ohio State University. Yes, I am a Buckeye; beware Michigan fans! I completed my multiple subject teaching credential at California State University Northridge. I enjoy photography, swimming, hiking and relaxing with my three cats (Walter, Fiona and Ella). I am also a proud Auntie to 3 nieces and a nephew.
