Edible School Yard/Cooking
After graduating I moved to Southern France where I managed an art gallery and worked as an artists assistant. I also taught English at the International School of Nice and eventually worked in the promotions department, traveling around Europe to enroll students in the program in Nice. Upon returning to Los Angeles I spent about a decade working in the music business at Elektra, MCA and the Soundtrack Company. After the birth of my kids I became increasingly active in their schools. I founded the garden program, From the Ground Up, at Wonderland Elementary where I taught students and ran the program for 4 years. I also taught afterschool classes in art, cooking and gardening with STAR and CKLA. This is my fourth year working for the ESY program at LCS, helping build the program, working with lunch and teaching the Kitchen Classroom.
