michelle.alger-mintie@larchmontcharter.org

I began my gardening career when I attended UC Santa Cruz and had the opportunity to intern with several farms, including the famous Alan Chadwick Garden. After graduation, I continued working on farms in Los Angeles and Virginia gaining more and varied experience. It was also around this time that I started working with nonprofits trying to incorporate education into gardening. Most recently, I have been using my skills to help special needs students create a greenhouse program in South LA, and teach elementary students through the garden education non-profit called Enrich LA.
