Why did you want to be a teacher/work in education?
I chose to work in the field of education because nothing is more personally or professionally fulfilling than when the product of your work is a child's academic or social growth. I believe that it is my responsibility and calling to contribute what I have learned and experienced over the years to make a positive difference in the future of our students.

How long have you been teaching/working in education?
10 years

What is your favorite thing about LCS?
My favorite thing about LCS is it's unique contribution to a stronger educational system. LCS is paving the way through it's belief that the circumstances a child is born into won't dictate their chances for success, but rather that a great educational experience will ensure that all children will thrive. Larchmont is committed to providing that great experience.

What was your favorite book when you were the age of your students?
When I was in elementary school, my favorite book was the Japanese folktale "The Paper Crane" by Molly Bang. The illustrations were not only an artistic masterpiece, but the moral of the story espoused the importance of generosity and kindness towards those less fortunate. This theme resonated with me tremendously.
