Prior to arriving in Los Angeles just about two months ago, I spent 11 years in Chicago where I received my MEd from DePaul University. There I studied and specialized in Secondary Education: English Language Arts and also took additional coursework to receive an endorsement in Special Education. During this past 2018-2019 school year I worked as a Middle School Special Education Resource teacher for a north side Chicago Public School.

Aside from teaching, my hobbies and passions include: enjoying any and all outdoor activities, exploring the world around me, reading and researching, enjoying time with my family and dog, Seth, listening to a variety of podcasts, and of course binging a “can’t miss” TV series.

As we gear up for the 2019-2020 school year I look forward to becoming a bigger part of Larchmont’s community and staff, as well as, celebrating the many successes and strides my students and I will make together
