Thank you for your interest in LCS!
Our public lottery for the 2012-2013 school year will take place on February 10, 2012. Based on priorities, all participants will be placed on a waitlist, and each family will be mailed a letter showing their waitlist number for the 2012-2013 school year.
Within two weeks of the lottery, parents of admitted students will receive an acceptance letter in which we ask them to call the school within 72 hours and ask for an enrollment packet. This enrollment packet needs to be completed and returned to confirm acceptance of admission. A similar policy applies to students admitted throughout the school year.

How To Enroll in the 2012 - 2013 School Year
Our waitlist does not roll over from year to year due to district lottery requirements. All students who are on the current 2011-2012 waitlist will need to re-enter for the next lottery. Larchmont Charter School will have its public lottery on Friday, February 10th, beginning at 10:30am. This lottery will be from Kindergarten through 8th Grade, and it will be held at our middle school campus which is located at 668 S. Catalina Street, Los Angeles, CA 90005.

How to Enroll in the 2011-2012 school year
You may still add your child to our current 2011-2012 waitlist. Simply click here to download the form and either mail or fax it to the address or fax number on the form.
What is the minimum age for admittance to kindergarten in California?
California Ed Code states that "to be admitted to kindergarten, a child must reach the age of five on or before November 1 for the 2012-13 school year,” as per the California Department of Education website.
