I am a native of Southern California. I grew up in Arcadia where the well known Santa Anita Track is located. I was lucky enough to enjoy having friends from all different backgrounds. It was there that I learned to appreciate different cultures.
I grew up with my older brother who paved the way for me. He went choose to attend UCSB and live in Santa Barbara and I took a leap by moving to Atlanta for a time to attend Spelman. Traveling is something that was always encouraged by my parents, and it is something that I still enjoy doing today. Now, I am looking forward to traveling around the world with my husband and our daughter, Madeline Yuli.
