Where did you go to school and what was your major?
Washington University in St. Luis; BA in History and Psychology. UCLA; Masters in Teaching and Curriculum.

What is your highest degree held?
Masters in Teaching and curriculum

Why did you want to be a teacher/work in education?
I enjoy working with children and I fell in love with curriculum and early childhood development. The deeper I delved into the world of education, I felt a real drive to make a difference in the education system as a whole. I truly believe that Larchmont Charter School has the opportunity to pave the way in terms of changing the educational landscape in Los Angeles.

How long have you been teaching/working in education?
I taught for 14 years and I’ve been in education for 19 years.

What is your favorite thing about LCS?
As an educator, I love that our teachers have so much autonomy along with the opportunity to innovate. I also love our community and the change we are making in the city of Los Angeles.
